The main difference is in the payment processing. Instead of Delta sending their contribution to us, they will send it to you. We will then charge your credit card for the same amount, so you won't need to forward the payments to us.

For covered services like cleanings, exams, or x-rays, Delta Dental sends you a check and we charge your card for the same amount.
For other treatments, you pay your portion upfront, and later, when Delta sends their portion to you, we charge your card for that amount.
You simply deposit Delta's check when you receive it. You'll see two charges on your card for treatments: your portion upfront and the insurance portion later.
