Your dentist examines your teeth and gums, takes the X-rays you need, explains what they find in plain language, and talks through your options. If treatment is recommended, you get a written estimate with your exact cost before anything is done. Without insurance, the new-patient exam is $89.

Yes. We accept and bill all major PPO plans directly, including Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, Aetna, Guardian, Anthem Blue Cross, Principal, UMR, Beam and UC Berkeley SHIP, and we check your benefits before your visit. We do not accept HMO plans or Medi-Cal. If you have no insurance, our membership plans start at $300 a year.

You stay with us. Our oral surgeon, root canal specialist, gum specialist and orthodontist work at our Rotunda Specialty Center, 300 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, Suite 100, in downtown Oakland, and they see patients from all 13 offices. No outside referral is needed, and your records are already in one place.

Yes. Call (510) 495-1075: our phones are answered seven days a week, including weekends. Same-day appointments are held Monday through Friday, and because our root canal specialist, oral surgeon and gum specialist work at our Rotunda Specialty Center in downtown Oakland, the tooth we see today can usually be treated today. You do not need to be an existing patient or have a referral.
