Dr. James Connors
When it comes to oral surgeons, few can compare to the modern-day legend that is Dr. James Connors. As our oral and maxillofacial surgery specialist, Dr. Connors will brighten your day with his seasoned expertise, welcoming conversations, and – of course – his signature rotation of fun bowties!
Dr. Connors and his younger sister grew up in Massachusetts with a mother who worked as a hygienist and a grandfather who was a general dentist. After earning his undergraduate degree, Dr. Connors attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with his sister. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Connors accepted an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency while simultaneously enrolling in medical school at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.
Dr. Connors operated his own private practice in Massachusetts from 2003 to 2017 before moving to the Bay Area to be closer to his sister, who had previously relocated to California in order to practice orthodontics, and the rest of his family. After a mini-retirement, he joined Total Health Dental Care to continue his passion for patient care and oral surgery.
Dr. Connors considers each patient encounter to be his “privilege to attempt to provide for that person the best possible surgical experience.” Dr. Connors truly looks forward to each day he can come into the office, and he treasures each interaction with his patients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Connors is a self-described homebody, with the main exceptions being for nice restaurants, golfing ranges, and vacations. His ideal snack break consists of popcorn and Coke Zero.
